Tally from the August 30 Meeting

The following are the results from the August 30 vote taken in an effort to remove board member Allen Thomas:

479 ballots were mailed out to the property owners. There were 124 names on the sign-in sheet from the meeting, representing 96 of the 479 total lots within Ashbrook Village.

112 total votes were received with 102 being affirmative, of which 45 were mailed in; 10 were negative votes, of which 1 was mailed in (however only affirmative votes are required).

75% affirmative vote (359 yes votes) from the voting power of all 479 members is required to remove a board member as per the Code of Regulations for the Ashbrook Village HOA.

21.29% affirmative votes (102 yes votes) were received from the voting power of all 479 members. The vote was short by 53.71% affirmative votes (257 yes votes), therefore the vote for board member removal failed.
