Homeowners Association vs Community Association

The primary purpose of deed restrictions are to maintain a certain standard throughout the development and it is the responsibility of the trustees to oversee and uphold this. To clarify the difference between a Homeowners Association and a Community Association, all of Ashbrook Village property owners are legally obligated to the HOA as defined in court recorded documents, whereas a Community Association that might have events such as block parties and garage sales is independent of the HOA and would have to provide its own funding for those such events as property owners are not obligated to those things.
