Enforcement of Deed Restrictions

All property owners of Ashbrook Village are subject to the deed restrictions and it is the responsibility of the HOA to enforce these restrictions. Our management company drives through the neighborhood for periodic inspections, but the HOA also relies very much on reports from concerned residents. If a violation is detected or reported and confirmed, then a citation letter is issued; those who fail to comply will be fined.

Vacant homes with overgrown lawns can also be a problem that can be reported to our management company, although this is better reported directly to the Village at (614) 837 7501 (since overgrown lawns are violation of the Canal Winchester Codified Ordinance). The Village will notify the owner to mow the property and if the owner does not comply, the Village will mow and bill the owner.
