GUN CLUB PROPERTY REPAIRS

Erosion of the bank on the West end of the Gun Club pond was a result of the overflow pipe becoming obstructed with cattails and other debris causing the pond level to rise and overflow during periods of heavy rain in the past.

Prior to installation of the gate restricting vehicles, the area below the pond had become rutted from vehicles getting stuck and spinning around the field during snows and rains.

Over two dozen large dump truck loads of dirt were provided courtesy of Rockford Homes and used to fill in the eroded areas and ruts as well as some low areas.

The dirt was spread and smoothed by bulldozer which should make the pond area more accessible for mowing and golf carts.
